Jeny Acosta Bouhout

Jeny is a Miami native who has lived in Omaha, Nebraska and Morocco. She attended Creighton University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in communication studies with a focus in interpersonal communication, graduating cum laude and a member of Lambda Pi Eta, National Communication Studies Honor Society. After graduation, she traveled to Morocco, where she lived and taught English for 4 years. Already being a native speaker of both English and Spanish, while in Morocco Jeny learned Moroccan Arabic and some French. Upon her return to Miami, Jeny continued her career as a teacher working for Miami-Dade County Public Schools as an elementary school teacher. After almost 7 years as a teacher, she decided to continue her education as a law student to pursue her lifelong dream of being a lawyer. Along with her passionate desire to earn her Juris Doctor degree, Jeny is motivated by her precious daughter, Sofia.
